Review

What is wrong with the recently found Dottie? Will Jerome be able to keep his promise? Does he want to fulfill the Whitcombe Legacy? Will Julian die and is Dottie truly safe in San Francisco?

This is a really good follow up to the first book of the series The Vampire Julian. Although I really liked the plot I still felt there were things that needed to be in the book.

Where did Dottie come from, last we knew she was lost and then all of the sudden first chapter she is arriving. This alone let it be a 4 for me. I also wanted to know more about the nemesis characters and about the forces that Jerome forces. A little fleshing out about the Legacy would be great also.

These items may not bother you at all. They just kept it from being a 5 in my opinion. Do not get me wrong, I will be there waiting on book 3. I just would like to see a little more in the book. I would not use this as a stand-alone the first book is really required to understand what is going on in the novel.

Summing up: 4 stars, recommended – yes, adult themes and graphic loves scenes – yes, and good second offering to the series.

Is this novel for you? Yes, if you like a great paranormal novel with some spicy adult features. If you love Sci-fi romances and love great series novels this is the book for you. If you like series novels with multiple cliffhangers – this is the book for you.

Review

What do you get when you throw together a conquered city in the name of one Goddess, the interference of three other Gods/Goddess, the “help” of a now mortal brother and an ex-mistress to the cities former ruler, and the wrena of the keep? Will Garreth win his heart’s desires or destroy both himself and Sarielle for all eternity?

Cursed by Ice is the second offering in a new series that again deserves a 5 involving four cursed brothers who dared to give themselves immortality without the Knowledge of the Gods/Godesses. Frank gives us the story of a second brother who is entirely different and yet the same task remain to fulfill his as he takes over Dethane’s mission. The plot is well thought out and written smoothly. The ending again is the cliff-hanger set-up for the story of the next brother. This series is so going on my top reads as each comes out and I advise you to also read and enjoy.  I have included the link to the first book in the series; Cursed by Fire: The Immortal Brothers by Jacquelyn Frank; below.

As previously recommended:

Frank fans, this will be another series you will wait for the next novel with more or less patience. It does have some great sexy, steamy, and incredibly hot romantic scenes and adult language and themes.  After all it was written for the escape and pleasurable reading it was for this adult, and many others, therefore, parents be advised and you decide. If you find that you like this novel, you may want to start one of her other series while waiting for the second book. I suggest you start with Jacob.

Summing up: 5 stars, recommended – yes, adult themes and loves scenes – yes, and not to be missed in my opinion.

Are you interested in reading this book? Frank fans, without a doubt, paranormal adult romance at its best! You like paranormal, steamy hot sex scenes, mystery, suspense, and adult romance than you are going to love this novel

When Joss Met Matt: A Novel by Ellie Cahill

When Joss Met Matt:

A Novel

Ratings and Recommendations

Rating: 5+ teacups

Recommendation:  Yes, yes, Yes, yes, Yes, yes...

Book Club Worthy:  In genre, this would be a great book.

Review

Matt and Joss are better than friends with benefits, they are each other's go to "Sorbet" after one of them breaks up. But what would happen if someone breaks a rule and wants the whole meal not just the cleansing...

This book has been hands down the best adult romance that I have read in 2015 so far. I cried, I laughed, and I wanted to throw my device at times. I would give it 6 stars if I could and will rate it at a 5 + on my blog.

I could not, could not, put this book down. I wanted to reach into the book and make the characters bend to my will at times. The plot itself is wonderful with all its twisting turns and misunderstandings along the way. I just have nothing I would change or even no little nitpicks about this novel. It is what I am looking for in a story. It engaged my mind, my emotions, and had me taking sides (I might add over and over while switching my loyalties) throughout the entire book.

Summation: 5 stars, One of my Best Books of the Year - Romance, recommended - Yes!!!!!!

Do you like great a romance that has a spicy adult interactions inside the pages? Do you want something you cannot put down and still reads fast that you will become emotionally involved in the outcome? If so, this is your book.

So, go get the book, already, like I did.

Review

Where is Dottie? Is there more than meets the eye in New Orleans as Simone searches for Dottie? Does Simone’s very hot and super sexy new employer know what is amiss…?

I really enjoyed this book and will give it a 4 ½ on my website, here, however it gets a 4 star rating. Although I did not want to put it down and enjoyed most of the plot, there were some questions I thought I would like to know the answers to, even though I know there is a sequel coming. What about a new search or did that get put to the side to help Jerome? Simone seems to cave so easily at the end and that seems out of character. What exactly is Simone going to do…

These items may not bother you at all. They just kept it from being a 5 in my opinion. It is definitely a quick read as there is action all over the plot. I just hope the next novel The Vampire Jerome Book 2 in The Whitcombe Legacy, answers the questions that I have listed above. I would have liked to know a little more about their nemesis and Mike, thus a little further character development in those two. As stated before, it may not matter to many of you, at all, thus making it a 5 in your opinion.

Break down: 4 1/2 stars, recommended – yes, adult themes and graphic loves scenes – yes, and great beginning to a promising series.

Review

No more banana in the Vita-Mix, these tasty treats are not just for Vegans, they can pass the carnivore test!

Weston brings her A game to the frozen dessert world and earns a 5 rating from me. Not only pleasing Vegans but the sole picky carnivore who happens to love ice cream, as in thinking it is a food group of its own. She explains the tools used including what type of ice cream maker is best for you. There are even a few adult desserts that use spirits although some give you the virgin option also. I definitely recommend this book, especially as a Vegan who is happy to make coconut ice creams at home.

You like to make ice cream, granite, popsicles, cookies for ice cream sandwiches, and more while at least being a Vegan, this is your book.
