Review
Will Thea make an
exception to her no dating clients rule after the super-hot memo David writes
her about why they should date and risk losing her heart to the sexy drummer of
Schoolboy Choir? Does David have the patience to allow Thea to learn to trust
him after the treatment of her ex-fiancé and the fact there are fans that surround
the band and that worries her in the beginning…
This second novella in the Rock Kiss series is just as good
as the first novel and I give it 5 stars. It takes place at the same time as
the first book and is a standalone if you have not read the first one that is
fine. You can read this and then go back and catch Rock Addicted: Rock Kiss (Volume 1). This novella focuses on the
drummer, David and the owner of the band’s public relations firm, Thea. David
is madly in love with Thea and she will not give him the time of day as she
does not date client’s, meanwhile, Molly, her step-sister, is dating the lead
singer Fox. Molly advises David to memo Thea the reasons why they should date,
so he does. Thus the games begin and Thea starts to fall for David’s mind. So
starts the beginning of a sexy, witty, funny plot.
The budding romance is embraced by the band and family
alike. As with all good plots there is something to throw a wrench into the
happy works. Neither David nor Thea react the way the other wishes they would
react to the given situation creating quite a bit of drama. Having to wait to
the end of the novel to see the resolution of the situation and what will
become of David and Thea is what is great about the book and one of the rewards
of reading it. It is a fast read as you want to know what happens and want to
see what happens next between the memos, the lovemaking, the drama, the ending.
Oooh, the ending, it is a good thing that the next novel is available. This
series is addicting! See you after Rock
Hard: Rock Kiss Book 2.
Is this novel for
you? Yes, if you like a great romance novel with a sexy lead male and a strong
female that can stand up to anyone or anything. If you like well-developed
characters and romance with a high chance of series addiction and heart melting
memos that will make you want to find your own David or Thea!
