Can Chloe fit into Sawyer’s life without joining a BDSM club or will she change him as she fears? Will Sawyer convince Chloe that she is enough for him and that he does not need the club anymore, only the friends that he met there?

This is book six in the Club Sin series and is a standalone novel that I am giving a rating of 5. The plot is quite different from what I expected. It was still very engaging with characters that were more like friends after the book was over. Still has hot and super sexy love scenes like the other novels, it was unusual in that the leading man did not want to share anything about his unique and innocent Chloe with the club scene at all. Chloe worries that she is changing Sawyer and he will be unhappy without his kink and his club.

This novel has the added twist of violence through Sawyers sister’s ex-boyfriend beating her up and Chloe and Sawyer hunting for him after the police are unable to find him. It is not romantic violence in any way shape or form. It is more in the shape of police crime or detective book type violence that may be expected as Chloe is a Private Investigator and Sawyer works for Las Vegas SWAT. I think the book works well all around. It covers all the bases for a good BDSM novel with the added above twists. It was another one that had me from Chapter One and would not let me go until I was finished. I am anxiously awaiting the next novel; which I know is Mine: A Club Sin Novel (Club Sin series Book 7). I am excited because a publisher told me it is about Presley and Dmitri…

Is this novel for you? You believe that a novel with BDSM can be romantic. You like plenty of adult kink in your novel. You like that a sub can take care of herself if she needs to at times. You like that Sawyer does not want others to see his prized sub or share any of her experiences with a club. Some violence is alright in you romance, even if it is the wrong kind and not the nice BDSM kind. Then this is the book for you.

After life as a teenage prostitute in New York City can Anna go back to life as a “normal” teenager in her suburban home, attend school, and fall in love with the cute, geeky boy who makes her feel good? Or will the lies she tells about her past make him hate her because of the one thing she is… a liar?

This novel deals with some very dark topics in a serious and well written way. It does receive a 4 for a couple of reasons. Even though there is definite repercussions for many crimes in the book, some things seem to go unpunished which should have carried some punishment; including something close to date rape and blackmail with a sex tape. Another point is forgiveness comes too quickly. Otherwise, the subject matter and crimes with punishments seem to be more fitting in a legal sense.

The dysfunctional relationships go from broken more toward fixed or becoming fixed, which show great progress in the growth of many of the characters making them complex individuals that are interesting to read about in a novel. Both Jackson and Anna seem to mature throughout the book and realize their potential as young adults as oppose to becoming stagnant. Anna even recognizes some painful truths that shows her characters development.

Due to the darker nature of some of the subject manner moms or dads may wish to read and use this as a chance to share their “what is normal” moments also with their teen or young adult readers. I think it is a wonderful portion of the book so much so, that I will share one of mine here. I was sexually abused by a trusted adult when I was a young child and never shared the fact and felt responsible and shame until I was 25-years-old. I would have loved to have the opportunity of Anna’s poster at the time in the same setting.

Is this novel for you? Can you handle serious topics like rape, abuse, violence and teenage prostitution? Do you want your characters to grow and develop with real answers and some unresolved problems just like in life. Do you buy there can be hope even in light of dark things happening? Then this is a good fit for you and I recommend you get a copy and enjoy.

Apparently everything that happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas for Lizzie and Ben as they find out she is pregnant from the one night stand they shared after Ben promised band mate Mal that he would not go near his new sister-in-law. What happens when the pregnancy progresses and Mal finds out Ben cannot keep his promise to him for even one night…?

This book brings to end the Stage Dive Quartet. I think my heart is absolutely breaking as I write this. I love this series. From the first chapter of Lick: Stage Dive 1, I have been hooked. I have read all four books more than once. I love Scott’s writing and storytelling that much. The plot’s flow and enough twists and turns to be interesting without so many that the story is bogged down. The characters are well developed and I feel like they are family. I am going to miss the Stage Dive characters very much. Right about now I am wishing there was a piano player as I am sure you will be after you say good bye to the band in this fabulous but still the end, novel. At least I can reread them when I am missing them ;-)

Best thing about books ever! Also, another great thing about this series, they are each standalone. If you are they lucky reader who has not been introduced to any of the Stage Dive Novels, you are in a treat and can read them in order, out of order, just read them. I cannot recommend them enough for the super-hot lead males, the great steamy sexy parts and the super make you want to cry romantic parts. These are adult romance so parents be aware and make a choice.

Are the Stage Dive Novels, Deep, in particular for you? You want a leading men hot, love scenes the steamier the better, heroines strong, characters like family, a great plot, and a book that makes you need to turn the page to get to the ending. If this is you, these are the books for you!

Review

Can Toni break free from her demanding family, full of prodigies, she usually cares for while finding a career separate from the Jean-Louis Parker jackals lives?  Will Ricky Lee Reed be able to keep Toni safe while she performs her new job long enough for him to convince her she should be his mate, once he admits it to himself…?

This is book eight in the pride series and I am slightly disappointed in this one. I am giving it a 4 out of 5 for a couple of reasons. It seems that the romance between Toni and Ricky Lee is almost an afterthought compared to the rest of the series couples. Another problem that I have with this novel is that the plot is all over the place and seems to be too ambitious. There are too many things going on that the love story of Toni and Ricky got lost somewhere.

It still has all the great characters from the Pride Series, well written and witty parts you come to expect from Laurenston.  I think it just has too many past character interaction. I would have liked to see more of the sexy naughty bits between Ricky Lee and Toni. And, yes, there can be too much intrigue to distract from the main story. Maybe even some less in depth in the Jean-Louis Parker siblings. Perhaps it is important to future storylines, but I would like to have seen less here and maybe more in the future if necessary. It just felt forced into the plot. These two major exceptions for me kept it from being the 5 I would like to have given a novel in a series I have completely love and would recommend. I still recommend this book, I am just saying it is not the best book in the series. Who knows, you may be just fine with my pick observations and will find it just perfect. It is still a good read. This novel could work as a standalone.

Are you into shifter novels? Have you followed the Pride series? Do you want your romance to be witty and smart? Do you like steamy sexy adult romance novels? This is your novel then.

Review:

Can Melissa forgive Tarian not telling of his Necromancy even after saving her from his grandfather’s evil plan…or is it too much even for mates?

Even though this is the second Fated Match novel; it is a standalone and I rate it 4 ½ on my rating scale. If you missed the first book Love at Stake (Entangled Covet) (Fated Match), you can easily go back and read it as it is also very good. The writing is engaging from the beginning of the book and I could not wait to finish it. The plot is unusual and has some interesting twists and turns. I like that Melissa is allowed to be a strong character and is allowed to see she might still love someone in spite of their issues loving her. It has some wickedly funny lines in it that make it fun to read also.

The characters are allowed to grow throughout the book and progress making them appealing and some even quirky. Previous characters you get enough information on them that you did not need to read about their story to make it necessary to this story to read. You will have to read to the end to see if all is forgiven or mates go their separate ways. It does have some steamy adult sex scenes in it also, so parents you make the call.

Is this novel for you? You think the vampires and necromancers are dead sexy. You like sexy steamy adult romance. You believe we all can get along, even vampires and necromancers. This might be just for you.

Review:

Will Presley’s need to please everyone translate into the proper submissive relationship in Club Sin? Can Dmitri show Presley that she needs only to please him for their Dom/sub relationship to work?

This is the great start to a new BDSM series Club Sin that I rate 5 stars. It is definitely an adult novel with adult subject matter that does have explicit and hot sex scenes between dominants and submissives. The story is well written and has some interesting plot twists, but not so many that is goes off track. The characters are well developed and you learn how both are introduced to the world of BDSM.

It is a very fast read as it had my attention and kept it from the beginning of the book. Once again parents, this is adult themed, so you make the choice. I love that Dmitri expects Presley to only be submissive and willing to please him in their D/s relationship and no one else, which is freeing to her as she no longer needs to try to please everyone. He also shows how she was taken advantage of by another who misused her need to please. I highly recommend if this is your type of adult reading pleasure. I cannot wait to get to book 2, Bared: A Club Sin Novel (Club Sin series Book 2) by Stacey Kenned.

Is this novel for you? You believe that a novel with BDSM can be romantic. You like plenty of adult kink in your novel. You like that a sub can have spunk other places than in the D/s role. You like that a Dom can separate his world from a place to be a dominant and a place to let it go. Then this is a good place to start a series it sounds like for you too.

Review

In the wake of her failed marriage, Maddy finds Rhys to be the man she can count on while turning the Lumbar Baron into a hotel, but will she fall apart when he goes back to Houston? Will Rhys be able to leave Maddy and his new found sister and brother and turn down the police chief position in Nugget for the Lieutenant’s position in Houston?

This debut novel is a 4 ½ star beginning to the start of a new series A Nugget Romance that takes place in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, in Nugget, California. In Book 1, we find Maddy Breyer and her brother restoring a Victorian Mansion to become a Hotel and Rhys Shepard coming back from Houston to become the temporary Chief of Police. As the remodel occurs, Maddy needs a place to stay and Rhys just happens to have an empty duplex to lease to her whilst he takes care of his father’s future medical necessities.

The plot is well written and keeps your interest. The characters are likable. Hopefully as future novels take place some of the backgrounds of the other players in Nugget will fill in as their story is told. Maddy and Rhys were rounded out to a good degree and have given the town a basis to start a series. I wish there were more on Sam and Lina. I do like that you will have to read to the very end to fill in some of the questions you will have when reading. I love even more that there is not a life or death cliff hanger. Do not get me wrong, I want to read the next book, Finding Hope: A Nugget Romance Book 2. I will read it, it just did not take a life or death cliffhanger, it took a good first book.

Is this novel for you? Do you like a strong woman? Can you take a little violence as it has a super hot police chief as a male lead? Do you want sad with your happy, not necessarily in that order? Do you like a little steamy adult action? Do you loved to get hooked on series romance? This romance just might be for you!
